Last week, SZM restored the power feed at the Schwochel-Wulfsdorf windmill farm (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) south of Eutin. One of the fields of a MV switchgear from the former Peters & Thieding was defective there, preventing three of the five windmills from feeding power into the grid.
About 20 years ago, Peters & Thieding installed these wind turbines with market leading special compactness, designed for the power supply of wind turbines. By the way, the circuit breakers for these windmills came from SZM in Bad Muskau at that time and are still maintained and repaired by SZM.
With our good supplier contacts, we procured a used Peters & Thieding unit for repair at the Schwochel-Wulfsdorf windmill farm and replaced the defective center panel with an intact panel. Job done, electricity flowing again, customer is happy.
