Protection and control technology is indispensable for the reliable and safe operation of electrical grids. Particularly in the course of the energy turnaround, with the move away from fossil fuels towards alternative energy sources (decarbonisation) especially in the energy sector, the requirements for the system management of small-scale grids will continue to increase.
SZM therefore now offers support in the area of Protection and Control Technology, thus expanding its technical service for industrial end customers and energy supply companies in Germany.
By inspecting and maintaining protection devices, low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, grid stations, generators, motors and transformers can be better monitored and grid faults prevented. At the same time, SZM can thus better respond to the ever-growing demands of the energy turnaround on distribution grids and the requirements of its customers.
