SZM successfully passed ISO certification

Audit on re-certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 boosts customer confidence over SZM's services in low and medium voltage.

On 1 June 2021, SZM successfully passed the re-certification audit in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard. The audit was conducted by TÜV Rheinland and has confirmed to existing and potential customers that SZM meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

ISO 9001:2015 specifies the minimum requirements for a quality management system that must be implemented in order to meet customer requirements as well as other requirements for product or service quality. Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001 creates worldwide confidence in the quality and performance of the company's own products and services.

SZM's Managing Director Maik Domel is glad about the renewed certification: "The ISO certificate shows that we have organised our production processes well, and it creates confidence in the quality of our performance and services for switchgear, transformer stations and transformers. It also forces us to keep improving." He expressed his gratitude to all the employees who ultimately made the re-certification possible.

SZM has already been certified since 2009. Since then, the quality management has been continuously developed and improved and the conversion to the current ISO 9001:2015 standard was successfully passed. Various follow-up certifications were carried out. The certificate now obtained is again valid for three years and must be inspected once a year during this period.
