SZM has been certified for years in quality management according to DIN EN 9001:2015 and in occupational safety with the seal "Safe with System" from the professional association for wood and metal. As a specialist for energy systems, we are now also qualified in the areas of risk and performance management via the Avetta and IntegrityNext platforms. SZM can thus act as a supplier to large companies such as Schneider Electric, the Lusatian energy company LEAG or Heidelberg Materials and supply retrofit solutions, but also switching devices or drives.

The Supply Chain Act also requires sustainability from suppliers

The background is the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), also known as the "Supply Chain Act", which has been in force in Germany since the beginning of 2023. It obliges large companies with more than 3,000 employees in Germany to examine their activities and business relationships along their supply chain to determine whether human rights and environmental standards are being observed - including at suppliers.

The aim is for the suppliers to observe and implement basic standards with regard to sustainability, the environment and social aspects along the value chain. The focus is also on observing and improving safety standards and improving occupational safety on site.

SZM as a partner of Schneider Electric

For Schneider Electric, SZM is now a pre-qualified partner through the Avetta platform and is therefore also a pre-qualified Schneider supplier under the Supply Chain Act. In any case, SZM has been a technology partner of the French electrical engineering group for years. In the area of power services, SZM is also one of a small group of just four EcoXpert Master Partners from Schneider Electric throughout Germany.

SZM has also successfully prequalified itself as a supplier on the IntegrityNext platform. Large companies such as Heidelberg Materials, Evonik or Jenoptik and the electricity supplier LEAG use IntegrityNext to work with their suppliers to improve the sustainability of their supply chain.

SZM qualified on Avetta and IntegrityNext

By successfully prequalifying as a supplier on the Avetta and IntegrityNext platforms, SZM is making an important contribution to more sustainability and transparency, demonstrating its maturity in terms of sustainability, environmental protection, social issues and corporate governance (ESG: Environmental, Social and Governance) and securing the Opportunity to establish new business relationships. From the beginning of 2024, the supply chain law will apply to companies in Germany with 1,000 or more employees.
